It is a small, very informal place, a few tables in a small room but separate from the entrance, in the morning it is also frequented by students. The managers are Sicilian, at the moment they cook rice arancini, pasta alla Norma and Sicilian Doc specialties: you will feel like you are near Messina eating the local delicacies made just for you. Above all I'm stocking up on desserts, in particular cassata (also mignon version) and cannoli stuffed at the moment according to your tastes: you can feel their taste of good ricotta and the aromas of almond paste. The portions are particularly generous, but there is never too much oil, fat, and I have never had digestive problems, I am enthusiastic and for how much you eat well I think the prices are honest and affordable. If you do not have the temperament of a southerner (the pleasure of sitting at the table and enjoying the joy of life), because for example you have 15 minutes before returning to work, I suggest however to point this out to the managers, who will surely be able to suggest arancini or suitable dishes. to stay in time. It is also suitable for taking trays of takeaway sweets (I made a great impression at a dinner at a friends' house) and I think also arancini and meals. For those who go in the evening, they told me that they close early (I don't remember exactly, maybe 9.30pm) but if you call and book they stay open! When I saw the place for the first time, entering from the street I didn't expect much, but this place is fantastic, genuine and tasty ... it surprised me ... GOOD GOOD !! If possible, in the middle of winter, avoid the first table (2 seats) in front of the entrance area (despite the distance, some cold winds can come from the street).
