Ho chiesto se avessero un orologio, naturalmente di una marca che hanno esposta in vetrina, la risposta non è stata:
"No, non lo abbiamo ancora disponibile"
oppure
"No, devo contattare il mio rifornitore"
Ma bensì:
"Ah ma questo sicuramente non lo vendono ancora in Italia"
Al mio: "Sì invece"
Ha risposto con un secco "No", si è susseguito un "Si", "No", "Si", "No", come se fossimo all'asilo.
Ho specificato allora quali gioiellerie lo possedessero, facendo vedere pure il loro sito internet.
Non contento mi ha chiesto il "codice"
Noi poveri stolti la chiamiamo "referenza"
Perché... "devo controllare"
"Ah ma qui dice che arriva dalla Malaysia infatti"
Ho evitato di rispondere: "Perché Seiko non è in Giappone, ma a Pizzo Calabro, che stranezza in effetti"
E ho preferito andarmene
Naturalmente l'orologio l'ho comprato a Forte dei Marmi la settimana dopo, perché in Italia c'è eccome

Sono entrato per visionare ed acquistare un Seiko Prospex SPB143J1 però devo aver fatto l'errore di dire che avevo visto l'oggetto sul sito ufficiale Seiko, quindi sono stato etichettato come "popolo di internet" che va a provare gli orologi per poi non compare nulla. Saranno forse dei bravi bottegai ma nessuna capacità di valutare le persone con cui hanno a che fare. In quanto a Seiko, consiglierei di scegliere meglio i concessionari, perché sentirsi dire che non tengono in casa orologi da 1200 euro perché chi compera certi marchi vuol spendere poco non fa onore ad un marchio che fa oggetti di precisione e pregio. Cercherò altrove
