Many people don't understand the concept of quality in language schools and may like or dislike things that are irrelevant. But the most important thing is to have professional and well trained staff that will help you achieve learning goals set forth by the appropriate framework and Giga definitely has these.

From the very first day I was already learning from the amazing tutors we had and from the other CELTA teachers. It was a very challenging course and be prepared to lose some sleep and be stressed, but be also prepared to learn so much. The tutors are amazing and will help you every step of the way. From the teaching practice, where you practice what you are taught, to the feedback sessions where you gain the real truths of how you did, you gain so much in just four weeks. The tutors guide and prepare you to teach two classes both intermediate and elementary adult classes and the students were amazing and I still miss them. The staff at Giga I H is also amazing. If you need to do your CELTA!!! Do it here!!!

The course, though incredibly intense and stressful by design, was very well-paced and organized, giving us the chance to put into practice what we studied and learn from our mistakes. The input sessions were very informative and always helped clear up any doubts about important concepts. The tutors were exceptional in helping each one of us improve and overcome our personal difficulties, be they because of lack of experience or habits that have been picked up over years of experience. Their attention to each of us was fundamental in our completion of the course and I feel that any teacher with any amount of experience will benefit greatly from this course and the guidance of the tutors. The school was well organized and professional with enough supplies and equipment to meet our needs, the support staff and administration very friendly and ready to assist us with any problem. The camaraderie and friendship of everyone I met in the course, along with the teaching methods and techniques, are what made this course truly unique, special and effective. I have learned many new concepts that I will utilize in my future and I will try to participate in any other courses that this school will have to offer in the future. I highly recommend taking the CELTA course here at Giga IH.

My experience at Giga International House exceeded my expectations.One of the many positive aspects of the course was that both people with and without teaching experience could attend it. The school offered a significant amount of resources that helped us work on our assignments. The input sessions were nicely organised and there was always room for further clarifications even outside the academic hours. We had the opportunity to teach both Elementary and Intermediate groups. Despite the intensity of the course, I felt the didactic and motivational support of my tutors until the very end. I also cannot be thankful enough for the psychological support that our tutors gave us during the toughest moments. The building itself has a nice décor to it, with colourful rooms and vending/coffee machines, which were of great help during our most sleepless days :-) Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The tutors are so supportive and are with you every step of the way. They are the two most inspirational teachers I have ever met and I have learnt so much from them. The school is warm and friendly and we felt welcome from the first day, all of the staff were always available to help and there to greet us with smiling faces every morning. Everything was extremely well organised from the schedule to the feedback we received. We had the opportunity to teach two classes, Elementary and Intermediate and the students were great; really happy to be studying at Giga and so open to having so many different teachers who were learning to teach. The resources the school offers are really useful. We had access to all the books we needed, which was important because I was studying away from home. I would recommend this as the ONLY place to do the CELTA :) I can not imagine having a better experience anywhere else.

I knew from the very first day that I had made the right decision because the tutors were knowledgeable, funny, organized, and very hands-on. If you are looking for an easy program and are not committed to growing as a teacher, Giga is not the school for you. When I was offered a job there I jumped at the opportunity and stayed for two years until I had to move home. The camaraderie among the teachers was the best I have experienced in all my years of teaching, the students were nice, and the Director of Studies was extremely supportive. I recommend Giga to all future language students, CELTA candidates, and teachers.
