A very nice palace with on of the most impressive engineering feats displayed in the multi pooled fountain with intersecting roads underneath. The gardens are astounding and the Palace apartments are nicely staged as per time period it is a full day

Incredible view from the top. Rent a bike, better electric if you want to climb until the falls

Some suggestions: - if you go by car there is a big parking underground, 1€ per h. Strongly recommended. - entrance ticket is 15€ if you take both royal apartments and gardens. If you go after 5pm 4€ BUT you can see only the apartments because the park closes at 6pm. - The gardens are really big so walking IMHO is not an option. They rent bikes for 4€ per h, or Electric bikes for 6€ per h. The bus Is 2.5€. With the bikes you cannot enter into the English garden so my recommendation is to take the bike for 1h and you can see all the water way, then take the bus and enjoy the English garden walking.

Wonderful palace very similar to Versailles. Get ready to walk a lot in the gardens, but they have a shuttle bus if you are not willing to walk that much.

It's an amazing place to take in the beauty of italian architecture and landscape design. The fountains and waterfalls are magnificent. It's a pretty long walk all the way up but there is a bus for 2.50 a person.

Amazing place! So much to see and so peaceful. Grounds are huge - keep going and going. Need at least a few hours to see it all Some pointers - the walk from the Palace to the top fountain and entrance to the English gardens is 3km each way, so take proper walking shoes to make it more comfortable as its slight uphill the way up. Also if you are pale like myself a hat and sunscreen on sunny days as not much shade on the main 3km walk up to the top.
