Ottima la bruschetta con gelato al pomodoro cosí come il salmone con sorbetto allo zenzero e aneto. Il gelato è realmente artigianale, prodotto con ingredienti di stagione e tecniche tradizionali e c'è una buona scelta di gusti sia con che senza latte (prevalentemente alla frutta) che faranno la felicità di intolleranti e vegani. Le proposte spaziano dai grandi classici ad accostamenti più arditi (ho detto crema allo zafferano e caramello?) e di tanto in tanto è possibile trovare dei nuovi gusti fuori menù. Molto buoni anche i cremolati e i tiramisù. Unico neo, le dimensioni dei coni un po' esigue rispetto al costo, ma la qualità esige giustamente il suo prezzo. Mi aspettavo più varietà di gusti, soprattutto con qualche accostamento ardito, considerando che é un locale che ha fatto del gelato ancora da scoprire, sa servire anche a cena, la sua bandiera. L'ambiente é un po' essenziale, ma soprattutto sarebbe da rivedere il servizio: la ragazza a servire che mette fretta e alza gli occhi al cielo quando gli chiedo di provare UN gusto e consigli sugli abbinamenti (mentre il locale é vuoto, non mi aspetto un trattamento speciale mentre c'è fila) non é quello che ci si aspetta da un locale rinomato. Le porzioni però purtroppo non sono molto generose e abbiamo finito la cena ancora affamati. Alla proposta del dolce abbiamo risposto che invece ci saremmo presi un bel gelato, il quale NON È SUL MENÙ del Bistrot. (il bancone della gelateria si trova a 1 metro dalla saletta del Bistrot) Quindi ci hanno chiesto i gusti del gelato mentre eravamo ancora seduti al nostro tavolo, cosa che noi abbiamo inteso (ingenuamente) come una gentilezza. Ci sono state portate due coppe di vetro con tre palline a testa che praticamente sparivano nella coppa, stessa quantità di un cono piccolo, con la differenza che sul prezzario del bancone gelateria era indicato €2,50 Sul conto a fine cena ci si è presentato con sorpresa un + €10 per due gelati. Che dire, non ci è sembrato un gesto molto onesto. Peccato perché le materie prime e il servizio ci avevano invece soddisfatto. I piatti sono curatissimi e di una bontà unica, e serviti con del gelato buonissimo. Le combinazioni pietanza-gelato sono studiate perchè i due cibi si complementino ed esaltino a vicenda. I tre soci sono stati gentilissimi, e il prezzo - considerato che per questo posto unico potrebbero chiederti di tutto -è onesto. L'opzione menù degustazione permette di assaggiare molti dei piatti, la raccomando vivamente. Non fatevi spaventare dall'unione insolita di pietanza salata e gelato, prenotate un tavolo e non ve ne pentirete!
