★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr leckeres Eis , auch zuckerfrei oder als Sorbet. Der Besitzer spricht tolles Englisch und am Ende bekam ich zwei Kugeln (eine normal, eine zuckerfrei) für 3€.
 Very tasty ice cream, also sugar-free or as a sorbet. The owner speaks great English and I ended up getting two scoops (one regular, one sugar free) for 3€.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Strong local ingredients, let me try the entire store before I bought. The pistachio ice cream has a high content of high quality pistachio paste. There are a lot of Sicilian speciality ice creams to try. You can tell the owner takes pride in his work, the high rating is well deserved.
Edit: tried 10 famous ice cafés in Palermo, none of them could even compete with Giuseppe! Too sweet, less raw material content, fewer traditional recipes, etc...
This is number one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The reviews must be most certainly fake or there os a new owner. Our gelato had frozen water crystals and was not creamy at all, other tubs of gelato had little pools of melted ice/ water in them. Yuck!
