For people who cannot eat ice that contains lactose: there are rare sorts available like dark chocolate or vanilla!

I've been enjoying their gelatos for years, and the frozen goods to go are spectacular (such as zuccotto, tiramisù, small ice cream cones, etc.)!
I highly recommend checking it out, although if you're staying in the city centre it might be a tad far away. Just take the tram 8 and get off at San Giovanni di Dio!
