Il tentativo lungo la cresta Nord ha avuto esiti disastrosi per me e per la mia compagna di cordata: colpa del "ghiaccio nero" dell'estate del 2009 che ha reso l'ascensione molto pericolosa e colpa nostra che, con ogni evidenza, abbiamo sottovalutato il pericolo. Conclusione: un bel scivolone lungo la cupola ghiacciata, in direzione del ghiacciaio del Monte Livrio, per fortuna senza grossi danni. Ho voluto comunque scrivere questa recensione perché è una cima che mi sento di consigliare in quanto, da lassù, si dovrebbe godere di un panorama del tutto eccezionale. Auch bei guten Bedingungen sind auf dem flachen und spaltenarmen Gletscher Steigeisen dennoch empfehlenswert!
