Che dire ... l'esaltazione assoluta per il palato!! Gentilissimo il proprietario, generoso di informazioni e notizie sul prodotto che hanno reso la degustazione ancora più soddisfacente, infine la preziosa presenza della simpaticissima e travolgente consorte. Insomma, si tratta di un luogo veramente speciale, dove ti arricchisci di cultura della nostra terra e scopri gioielli di grande bontà. Quando mangiare si traduce in "gustare" è là che si colgono le differenze. Complimenti ai signori Armetta. In search of extraordinary products, I discovered Armetta Salumeria. I found a form of Mallorca aged 30 months that was recently opened. What can I say ... absolute exaltation for the palate !! Dear owner, generous with information and news on the product that made the tasting even more satisfying, finally the precious presence of the very nice and overwhelming wife. In short, it is a truly special place, where you enrich yourself with the culture of our land and discover jewels of great goodness. When eating translates into "tasting", that's where the differences are perceived. Congratulations to the Armettas.

Una volta entrati in questo luogo magico l'accoglienza ti fa sentire subito a casa. Sono tutti gentili e disponibili, pronti a consigliarti rispetto alle proprie esigenze. Si arriva al bancone delle meraviglie pieno di salumi, formaggi e prodotti tipici locali. Una volta acquistato il prodotto si arriva a casa e che dire... Godimento estremo, esplosione di sapori e piacere sublime. Non sono mai rimasta delusa da nulla entrando nella bottega del signor Armetta. In più ci sono molti prodotti vegatariani, quindi formaggi senza caglio. Insomma, paradiso. You enter a small shop full of warmth with walls full of tantalizing foods and stories to tell. Negozio storico , dal 1926 , ancora oggi offre una grandissima scelta di prodotti tipici siciliani e non solo di alta qualità e prelibatezze di livello assoluto. Dai formaggi ai salumi passando per i vini , le birre artigianali , prodotti da forno tutto proveniente da fornitori selezionati e verificati . Difficile descrivere tutto quello che si può trovare in questa pazzesca bottega , la scelta è davvero incredibile per tutti i gusti . Provare per credere , non ve ne pentirete! The shops of the past… Gino Armetta in San Lorenzo - Palermo is one of those realities that are now very difficult to find. Oltre all'eccellente qualità dei prodotti stessi siamo stati guidati in una degustazione dal Maestro che ci ha descritto e spiegato ogni singolo salume e formaggio. Allego una foto del piatto, che ha avuto tra l'altro un costo davvero irrisorio (14€). Abbiamo anche fortuitamente e piacevolmente conosciuto la sua stessa famiglia, esuberante e appassionata. Un luogo imperdibile in cui vorrei tornare presto. A fantastic experience: once inside we asked to do a small tasting of typical Sicilian products, to better understand the flavors of this region. In addition to the excellent quality of the products themselves, we were guided in a tasting by the Master who described and explained every single salami and cheese to us. I am attaching a photo of the dish, which had a really negligible cost (€ 14) among other things. We also fortuitously and pleasantly met his own exuberant and passionate family. An unmissable place I would like to return to soon.

Una famiglia che trasmette la passione e l'amore con cui porta avanti quello che chiaramente non è solo un "lavoro". Una bottega "all'antica", in cui si viene accolti con gentilezza e calore, in cui si respira il profumo delle cose buone e in cui si viene consigliati per il meglio. Un luogo con pochi fronzoli e molta sostanza, in cui ci si sente a casa. Mentre, come sempre, sceglievo i prodotti da acquistare nell'imbarazzo della scelta del banco salumi e formaggi (tra cui il loro eccezionale prosciutto cotto), sono stata deliziata con l'assaggio di una "chiacchiera" al naturale ed una con sopra una fettina di ricotta fresca...roba da far invidia al miglior cannolo della migliore pasticceria. Piccole attenzioni, piccole coccole che fanno bene al cuore e che migliorano la giornata. Straconsigliato. Un luogo del cuore. An unparalleled point of reference for me. While, as always, I was choosing the products to buy amidst the choice of the salami and cheese counter (including their exceptional cooked ham), I was delighted with the taste of a natural "chat" and one with a slice on top of fresh ricotta ... stuff to envy the best cannoli of the best pastry. Small attentions, small pampering that are good for the heart and improve the day. Recommended. A place of the heart.

Teresa and Angelo are incredibly hospitable and carry great knowledge about all the traditional products. We had a mindblowing selection of traditional DOP and Slow Food Presidia cheeses and salumi, both from heritage breeds and small farmstead producers. It’s absolutely worth a visit from the central area! So happy we went! Grazie ancora, Teresa e Angelo!
