★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questa GAM Ricci Oddi di Piacenza è una galleria fantastica, 22 stanze per ammirare artisti italiani e stranieri dall’ ottocento al novecento. La sala che ho apprezzato è quella dei pittori Macchiaioli, una raffinata collezione di dipinti di piccolo formato, da Fattori, Lega, Signorini, Cabianca, De Nittis, Boldini e altri. Negli spazi della GAM possiamo ammirare la mostra dedicata a Klimt, un po’ sotto le aspettative da come l’avevano pubblicizzata, l’attrazione è il ritorno del dipinto rubato “Ritratto di Signora “. Da lodare il responsabile,il personale e le volontarie che danno un eccezionale contributo al museo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really interesting art gallery with a selection of mainly recent Italian painters, chosen according to the taste of the former owner of the palace. The staff was always available to answer questions and to guide you through the various rooms.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Galleria d'arte moderna Ricci Oddi is a very important Italian gallery located in Piacenza. I have attended the ongoing Klimt exhibition at XNL, a modern space behind the Gallery. The exhibition was great, the only disappointing aspect was the lighting! That seems difficult to get it right at art shows in museums...
