★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fuor D'acqua is considered one of the best (the best) seafood restaurant in Florence. They are specialized in raw seafood, but they have a great choice of cooked fish as well.
It's a very upscale restaurant, great for working dinner or as a romantic place.
It is expensive, consider to spend 100€-150€ or more for each person, but the quality is really high.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is one of the best fish restaurants I've been to in a while, source material is extremely fresh and comes in in the late afternoon, can't get much fresher. The offer is relatively broad, ranging from crudités to grilled and fried fish. Wine selection is also quite good with the waiters offering support in the choice; on the down side service is almost too quick, which could in some cases be interpreted as rushed. Desserts selection is pretty standard but with great execution. Prices range between 60 and 100 euros per person, or more depending on the wine selection.
One negative point which some may notice is the crowd, which isn't always at the same level of the food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is truly something special. And I would bet it’s the best restaurant in Europe without a Michelin star. And one of the best Italian seafood restaurants in the world. This place is all about the fresh fish—collected by the owner each day from the coast and served simply (shrimp crudo with olive oil and lemon, lightly battered red mullet, lobster bathed in olive oil over fresh vegetables). The prices are reasonable for what it is, but expensive nonetheless.
If you are in Florence and looking for an exceptional meal, you will not be disappointed if you ignore the menu and just eat whatever is put in front of you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is very spacious and you are well seated and basically well served. My problem was with the menu and the way servers are directing you off the menu so at the end you don’t know how much you pay and for what food exactly.
I qualify this restaurant as very expensive compared to the food quality.
