La "grotte" est visible dans son entièreté à travers le grillage depuis l'extérieur, la visite n'est QUE en italien malgré le fait qu'on nous assure le contraire lors de la réservation, et la visite consiste à rester 1 heure dans la même salle à écouter des informations disponibles à l'entrée.
Je suis extrêmement déçue, je n'ai rien apris.

The "cave" is visible in its entirety through the fence from the outside, the visit is ONLY in Italian despite the fact that we are assured the opposite when booking, and the visit consists of staying 1 hour in the same room to listen to information available at the entrance.
I am extremely disappointed, I did not learn anything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sul sito scrivete che è aperto tutto l'anno e tutti i giorni quando poi non è vero. Sono venuto fin lì da Ferrara per vedere la grotta e poi me la trovo chiusa. Ho chiamato più volte il numero di telefono ma non rispondeva. Ma vergognatevi.
On the site, write that it is open all year and every day when it is not true. I came from Ferrara to see the cave and then I find myself closed. I called the phone number several times but did not answer. But be ashamed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visita durata un'oretta. La guida era appassionata e molto chiara nelle spiegazioni. Per la verità la visita consiste più nell'ascoltare che nel vedere, la grotta è veramente molto piccola e in questo periodo ci sono gli archeologi, per cui ampia parte è coperta per gli scavi. Per i singoli, la visita è consentita secondo un calendario stabilito (tipo nelle domeniche estive una sola visita guidata alle 15.30) ma sul sito non è molto chiaro. Prezzo del biglietto adulti 7 euro.
One hour visit. The guide was passionate and very clear in the explanations. In truth the visit consists more in listening than in seeing, the cave is really very small and in this period there are archaeologists, so a large part is covered for excavations. For individuals, the visit is allowed according to a set timetable (such as on Sundays only one guided tour at 3.30 pm) but on the site it is not very clear. Adult ticket price 7 euros.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 10 agosto 2021 cascate chiuse perché, a dire di gente del posto, il comune non ha trovato il modo di stipulare la convenzione con l'università di Ferrara per la gestione o altro ente. All'ingresso e sul sito sarebbe utile lasciare un minimo di indicazione.. Anche solo 'chiuso fino a..'. Pessima gestione.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ mi aspettavo una esperienza piu coinvolgente, si indossa un caschetto antinfortunistica per percorrere una cinquantina di metri in un sentiero immerso nella vegetazione per poi arrivare in una grotta protetta dove non ci sono rischi e a dire il vero anche poco da vedere, interessante la spiegazione della guida e le copie dei manufatti ricostruiti ed esibiti nell'esposizione della grotta ... secondo un piccolissimo museo per impreziosire il sito non sarebbe male.
I was expecting a more engaging experience, you wear a safety helmet to walk about fifty meters in a path surrounded by vegetation and then arrive in a protected cave where there are no risks and to tell the truth even little to see, interesting the explanation of the guide and copies of the artifacts reconstructed and exhibited in the cave exhibition ... according to a very small museum to embellish the site would not be bad.

Contrairement au nom, ce n'est pas une grotte mais une entaille dans la roche le long de la route qui se limite à un volume où les visiteurs peinent à circuler. Les pièces extraites sont évacuées du chantier. Pour le prix de 7€ vous n'avez que des explications en italien (même en réservant à l'avance où on vous annonce une visite en anglais voire en français), 2 panneaux et quelques reconstitutions d'outils qui pourraient être dans la salle de l'accueil.
Plusieurs personnes (y compris des Italiens) sont parties pendant les explications.
Bref, à fuir surtout à ce prix !
Move along, nothing to see.
Contrary to the name, it is not a cave but a notch in the rock along the road which is limited to a volume where visitors struggle to move around. The extracted parts are evacuated from the site. For the price of € 7 you only have explanations in Italian (even by booking in advance where you are told a visit in English or even in French), 2 panels and some reconstructions of tools that could be in the room of reception.
Several people (including Italians) left during the explanations.
In short, to avoid especially at this price!
