★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Franco Beraldo è uno degli eredi del colorismo e della luce della storia della pittura di Venezia. Dal '500 del Tiziano e di El Greco e poi via via nel corso del tempo con Tintoretto, Tiepolo, Canaletto, Guardi, Guidi, Vedova e molti fra gli spazialisti veneziani, riflette la propria interiorità attraverso l'eclettismo e la valenza del suo lavorare il vetro, i mosaici, gli affreschi, gli olii su tela, gli acrilici, gli inchiostri e le bellissime carte e grafiche di matrice giapponese.
Nei primi anni duemila il grande passaggio della sua arte dalla tras-figurazione del mondo reale verso una più iconica e astratta rappresentazione ed espressione dei propri più intimi sentimenti. Il risultato è la meraviglia delle velature dei colori nelle carte e nelle tele, la stupefacente percezione visiva del prisma luminoso declinato nelle forme delle sue sculture in vetro, il senso della matericita' quasi tattile degli affreschi e puntiforme dei mosaici.
Spesso il rosso prevale e accarezza nello stesso tempo ampi squarci di azzurro, blu e bianco, ma le opere di Beraldo sono quasi sempre caratterizzate da un concerto e da una sinfonia di colori che rappresentano e quasi cantano nel loro insieme la poetica della vita.

Franco Beraldo is one of the heirs of colorism and light in the history of Venice painting.
