The ease and calm with which he interacted with all of our guests helped everyone relax and take in the day as opposed to worrying about posing for pictures. There are easily dozens of pictures from the day that as my wife and I looked through for the first time we had no idea Fra was there to capture the moment. He is unobtrusive but somehow managed to capture every moment perfectly! And when it comes to the larger than life shots with just the two of us and the jaw dropping beauty of Italian countryside behind there are simply no words that could do his work justice. Stop looking and book Fra, we certainly could not be happier!

The first moment we met him, we could tell that we were going to have a good time and his personality made the wedding day jitters disappear. He captured some amazing moments on our special day and we couldn't be happier with the results. We traversed the streets of Florence with him as our guide, stopping for poses where he suggested and let him work his magic. He leaves the poses up to his clients - he does very little formal "set ups" and wants you to interact with each other to make the moments special and unique. His play on light and shadow is fabulous - and he definitely takes advantage of both when the opportunity strikes. We could go on and on but that would get boring. We hope to use him again in the future - for anniversary pictures, when we visit Florence again. Ciao!

He came highly recommended from a jeweler on the Ponte Vecchio and he did not disappoint. Before starting, he really took the time to know us. We had never done this kind of thing before, so for us it was very difficult to get comfortable with at first, but Francesco was very personable, easy to work with, and gave us many tips along the way. By the end it was if one of our friends was taking the photos. Had it been someone else taking the photos I’m not sure we would have opened up as much and the results would not have been as good as they were. Francesco’s style and way of capturing light really lends itself to shooting in Italy. All of the photos are beautiful, creative, and very different than many other wedding or engagement photos we have seen. We could not recommend working with Francesco any more!

He was very helpful during the planning process and dealt with a lot of stress regarding potential bad weather. He also adjusted quickly and on the fly to edit the photos to our liking and take photos that were perhaps not his typical style because we requested them. He also turned around over 500 edited photos from two shoots within one week!

Unfortunately, due to cover we had to cancel our wedding in Florence and get married at home in California. Francesco was very gracious about the situation and told us to let him know when we were back in Florence or if we decided to reschedule the wedding. We were lucky enough to return to Florence this month and do a maternity shoot with Francesco, and he was wonderful! We said we wanted to walk around Florence and shoot at all the major sites in the city. Francesco led us to the best places for scenery and light. He gave us enough direction so we knew what to do (we are not big photo takers), he made us feel comfortable and got great shots of us looking natural and in the moment. After just two hours with him we got back over 100 edited photos. We were shocked with how many photos we got and how many we loved. I would highly recommend Francesco for any event or occasion that you need a photographer. I still wish that we got to have him as our wedding photographer because he would have be fantastic!

I had a few complicated requests ( I was aiming to get surprise proposal photos in front of the duomo at the peak of dawn without my significant other noticing.) Francesco was very accommodating with my requests, and provided candid advice as to how to best plan and coordinate based on what I wanted. During the shoot, Francesco did an amazing job at helping us feel comfortable and guiding us, while still providing us our own liberty and space to make it our own. It took me a while to loosen up, but a few jokes later and it all felt natural. Now, on to the photos. Absolutely stunning. We received over 275 fully edited and impeccable photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. The lighting, the locations, and the captured moments by Francesco were beyond what we could ever ask for. I can’t thank you enough Fra and would 10/10 recommend this for anyone looking for any kind of photographs in Florence!
