Situata sul Corso Umberto I, costituisce un'opera monumentale di notevole importanza artistica, la cui bellezza si esprime nelle forme marmoree della Venere Ciprea, la quale tiene per mano il piccolo Cupido e regge, con l'altra mano, una conchiglia. Il tutto è sovrastato dallo stemma dei "Ventimiglia" e dalla prosperosa Andromeda in posizione rannicchiata. La fontana vera e propria consta di n. 4 cannelli ( i~ quattru cannola~) con acqua corrente ed è incorniciata da 4 metope in bassorilievo, con la leggenda istoriata di Diana al bagno e del cacciatore Atteone, trasformato in cane per l'intemperanza usata verso la ninfa. It is one of the jewels of Castelbuono. Located on Corso Umberto I, it is a monumental work of considerable artistic importance, whose beauty is expressed in the marble forms of the Venus Ciprea, which holds the little Cupid by the hand and holds, with the other hand, a shell. The whole is dominated by the "Ventimiglia" coat of arms and the prosperous Andromeda in a crouched position. The real fountain consists of n. 4 cannelli (i ~ quattru cannola ~) with running water and is framed by 4 metopes in bas-relief, with the historiated legend of Diana in the bath and of the hunter Acteon, transformed into a dog due to the intemperance used towards the nymph.

Completata nel 1614 presenta sulla parte in alto la statua di Andromeda (o secondo alcuni Afrodite) proveniente da Ypsigro (l'antico casale bizantino dove oggi sorge Castelbuono). Al centro Venere e Cupido, mentre in basso un bassorilievo di provenienza greca che raffigurano Diana al bagno e il cacciatore Atteone trasformato in cane. Fountain of the fifteenth century, known in dialect as the four cannola because of the 4 torches from which the water flows. Completed in 1614, it presents on the upper part the statue of Andromeda (or according to some Aphrodite) coming from Ypsigro (the ancient Byzantine farmhouse where Castelbuono stands today). In the center Venus and Cupid, while below a bas-relief of Greek origin depicting Diana bathing and the hunter Actaeon transformed into a dog.
