Meglio salire dal lago d'Idro. Visited with an organized group. Very suggestive. You can also have a picnic. È possibile visitarlo ma a proprio rischio e pericolo:(. La vista è imperdibile. A piece of history that should be restored to its splendor. Unfortunately, neglect has led it to be a ruin. Attualmente è in uno stato di completo abbandono e negli anni è stato ampiamente depredato di ogni cosa, rimane integra solo lo struttura di calcestruzzo armato. Military building dating back to 1908, the place is full of charm and mystery, ideal for an adventure trip without too many risks. Quando si arriva il posto è un oasi di pace ed il forte ha una sua componente ghot e potrebbe essere interessante fare il percorso di notte, fermarsi a dormire con falò e sacco a pelo e scendere all'alba...
