★ ★ ★ ★ ★ War mir lange Zeit unbekannt. Österreichisches Bauwerk das noch gut erhalten ist. Gut erreichbar, auch für eine Familienwanderung geeignet.
 Was unknown to me for a long time. Austrian building that is still well preserved. Easily accessible, also suitable for a family hike.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il forte Casara è uno dei forti austro-ungarici facenti parte della fortezza di Trento (Festung Trient) . Il forte si trova tra i paesi di Montevaccino e villamontagna. Esso appartiene al grande sistema di fortificazioni austriache al confine con l'Italia.
È stato costruito tra il 1860 ed il 1885. Ad oggi rimane un muro di sostegno con una targa commemorativa, un grande piazzale dei piccoli Bunker e le cisterne d'acqua interrate.
Fort Casara is one of the Austro-Hungarian forts that are part of the fortress of Trento (Festung Trient). The fort is located between the towns of Montevaccino and villamontagna. It belongs to the great system of Austrian fortifications on the border with Italy.
It was built between 1860 and 1885. Today there remains a retaining wall with a commemorative plaque, a large square with small Bunkers and underground water tanks.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Al forte si arriva comodamente partendo dal parcheggio del Campel. La passeggiata dura un'oretta, è adatta ai bambini e anche ai passeggini (da montagna). Arrivati a destinazione ci sono un paio di panchine, dove è possibile riposare e fare un picnic.
The fort can be easily reached starting from the Campel car park. The walk takes about an hour, is suitable for children and also for strollers (mountain). Arriving at your destination there are a couple of benches, where you can rest and have a picnic.
