Si trova nel quartiere Q. XIV Trionfale, nel territorio del Municipio Roma XIV. Il Forte Braschi fu costruito tra il 1877 e il 1881, non si hanno però dati riguardanti il costo dell’opera. Situato a cavaliere dell’attuale Via della Pineta Sacchetti, doveva difendere sia le alture a ovest della via Trionfale fino a Torrevecchia e Primavalle, quanto quello interno della valle dell’Inferno. Il tracciato del forte, è riconducibile a un trapezio isoscele con fronti “a saliente” simmetrici. Il fossato perimetrale è difeso da caponiera centrale e mezze caponiere laterali, da un muro alla Carnot del tipo scoperto sui fianchi e sul fronte esterno e sul fronte di gola dal tamburo difensivo posto a destra dell’ingresso al forte, difeso dal rivellino. Il piano del ramparo è raggiungibile da due rampe disposte simmetricamente ai lati del traversone centrale. Non è nota la posizione della polveriera, di due pozzi di acqua sorgiva. Forte Braschi is one of the 15 forts in Rome, built in the period between 1877 and 1891 to constitute the "Campo Trincerato di Roma". It is located in the Q. XIV Trionfale district, in the Municipality of Rome XIV. Forte Braschi was built between 1877 and 1881, however there is no data regarding the cost of the work. Located as a knight on the current Via della Pineta Sacchetti, it had to defend both the hills west of Via Trionfale up to Torrevecchia and Primavalle, as well as the inner one of the valley of Hell. The layout of the fort is attributable to an isosceles trapezoid with symmetrical "salient" fronts. The perimeter moat is defended by a central caponium and half lateral caponiums, by a Carnot wall of the type discovered on the sides and on the external front and on the throat front by the defensive drum placed to the right of the entrance to the fort, defended by the ravelin. The plane of the ramparo can be reached by two ramps arranged symmetrically on the sides of the central crosspiece. The position of the powder keg, of two wells of spring water, is not known.
