Il forte non è tenuto proprio benissimo.
Vi consiglio di visitare i sotterranei.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chi è stato fortunato come me che è cresciuto a Pietralacroce, ha avuto anche la fortuna di giocare all'interno di questo splendido forte, oggi principale metà dei nostri figli. Infatti il Forte Altavilla, per volere del comitato cittadino di Pietralacroce, sin dagli '80, è diventato un parco giochi. Ogni anno, all'interno delle mura del forte e nei locali dove è possibile accedere, si svolge l'ormai noto "Presepe vivente di Pietralacroce".
Who was lucky like me who grew up in Pietralacroce, also had the good fortune to play within this splendid fort, today the main half of our children. In fact, the Altavilla Fort, at the behest of the city committee of Pietralacroce, since the 80s, has become a playground. Every year, within the walls of the fort and in the rooms where it is possible to access, the well-known "Living Nativity of Pietralacroce" takes place.
