The staff was very... well, "pissed" and ignored people or looked like they didn't wanted to be there. We ate "Spaghetti alla Palermontina" - firstly, it was defenitly no spaghetti, it was more like macceroni; secondly, the fishbones and the fishes' skin weren't removed and it tasted as if the fish wasn't really fresh anymore. I didn't feel very good later on and will NOT recommend it.

Final bill scribbled on piece of paper, random overpriced lump sum without break down of details. Rude and unapologetic behaviour from beginning to end ! Never again!!
D	David Cook on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From start to finish the experience was extremely disappointing. The service was poor - no smile at greeting and it's like everything you asked was a big effort. The pizza was cold in the middle and the fish was dry and tasteless which is an insult considering the cost. Hugely disappointed especially as this is the last night of our holiday.

It is not pretentious, but the owner is passionate about cooking and food and the young lady behind the bar is passionate about wine and together, they make an amazing combination. We were in the area for three days and we ate here every night.. The first night, we had a pizza, but after that we tried a variety of the local fish dishes. Every meal was cooked to perfection and each night, we let the young lady pick the wine for us. Her choice was superb, the wines were beautiful and on each occasion, they complemented the meal. She did not take advantage of my leaving the choice to her and twice she made her choice from the cheapest wines on the menu and only once did she recommended paying a little more. The service was good. The staff were attentive, but not over bearing. We visited the area in March so they were not very busy and we had the chance to talk to the owner. We speak a little Italian and he speaks reasonable English, so it was interesting to learn about the local dishes and the wine. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. From the outside, it looks very average. Inside, it is a source of culinary pleasure.
