Excellent, we had lunch, had fried dumplings with a platter of cured meats and cheeses as an appetizer, very good parmesan, roast beef and eggplant parmesan, all excellent. Very courteous staff, surely if I were to stop in Modena I would stay there again.

Hospitable place but you have to select the right wines and maybe arrange the tables a little better

The desserts are excellent, but the service lacks approximation: the tea - when the room is not full - arrives after 15 minutes compared to the desserts, without missing a slice of lemon. A little more care, right?

Good coffee and cakes! The waitress was very polite and helpfull. She helped us find a good restaurant in Modena when most restaurants were fully booked.

Originally established in 1902, we had with one of the previous owners telling us the history of the 3 generations family business. The original coal, then gas baking ovens still remain in the seating area. Beautiful pastries. Lovely decor. Great coffee.
