Fabulous resort with unique view, relaxing outdoor baths and very nice rooms. Bed was particularly comfortable. The food was also a highlight with great choices on the menu and varied breakfast buffet. Professional staff. Impeccable.

Bought a pool ticket which literally means you have one pool to bath...only termal pool, no any other attraction or pool. Middle of summer there were about 10-15 guests, majority from the hotel. On the other hand it is clean and tidy, all well organized.

We arrived at the hotel on the day of their post COVID reopening for a 3 days experience . 3 comments: 1-Amazing team with special customer care and genuine willingness to care. Special kudos to the F&B teams . Food is fab wether culinary or diet . 2-Thermal pools and spa treatments are unique. Jet massages with Dipu are a must though you need to book them well in advance. 3- Accommodation renovation is long overdue , hence only 4 star rating. A huge opportunity . We will definitely be back though :))

Stunning location with amazing destinations within an hour’s drive in all directions. Excellent spa facilities and pools. The tennis court was one of the reasons I chose this hotel - it was a very poor ripped up AstroTurf playing surface which was also used as a local soccer / basketball pitch /court. The hotel has a glass tunnel linking the old and new building which has no opening windows. This made our corridor insanely hot.

The Fonteverde resort is located a short distance from the village of San Casciano dei Bagni, immersed in a typical Tuscan landscape. Despite being a 5-star luxury hotel, the structure does not appear to be such. The structure is dated and must be absolutely renovated in the common areas and in the rooms where the signs of aging are most noticeable. In any case, the service is perfect, the staff very helpful and kind. The swimming pool area is very nice and well maintained but here too everything needs to be modernized. The major defect of the Fonteverde is the restaurant that offers a sparse and poor menu, the few dishes available are absolutely not up to the level of Tuscan and Italian cuisine, the cost of a dinner is very high and the value for money insufficient. The bar service is of a good standard with well prepared and professionally served cocktails. The breakfast, due to the limitations imposed by the covid, is offered at the table and in the most crowded moments the service is slow and chaotic despite the staff working at their best to satisfy the guests. The equipment of the rooms is excellent, bathrobe and slippers for the pool are available as well as a beach bag to allow guests to bring towels, books, etc. to the pool. Another unacceptable defect is the very noisy air conditioning that has to be turned off during the night. Ample parking available and free. The hotel has a spa with massages and beauty and health treatments. In this hotel, the greatest value is the staff, starting from the manager to the lifeguards, all very kind and helpful with guests. Upon arrival we received a bottle of wine and upon departure we were honored with quality and branded beauty products. Overall a pleasant stay.

VERONICA, the massage lady: RUDE, IMPOLITE, UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! If a lady named "Veronica" has to give a massage, escape! Basically after a misunderstanding with the reception, we arrived at the wrong time (10 minutes away from the right time, even if we were already at the spa but not at the right spot). The lady at the spa reception was lovely! All of the staff was really adorable, they tried to do the best for us! Then, arrived Veronica, arrogant, presumptuous and really mean! She talked to my boyfriend like literally in a way you would never talk to anyone! Started her 'massage' which was everything but not a massage, talking impolite not even putting oil or something to make it relaxing. After 8 minutes, she said that she was over. Now, I understand that you maybe chose the wrong place, but then just change job instead of ruining people's good moments! First, you don't talk to people like that, (even more when you're at work, and your work is in a 5 stars spa!), then having this kind of behaviour should make you fired! because you're ruining the spa's image while you're paid!!!! Honestly I would love to go back someday but because of Veronica trauma, we won't absolutely come back. Such a pity that a 5 stars establishment is totally ruined by only one person!!! However, we will not let this pass! We already contacted the direction to take an administrative sanction and started legal pursuit against her! dear Veronica, if you're reading that, maybe this kind of behaviour worked well until today, but that time you did that with the wrong people.

Very nice spa, great treatments, thermal water is super! we enjoyed as guests and then came back as day guest. Ask the reception for special packages and deals if you take the standard day package you are only allowed in 1 pool, but you can make a special offer which allows you in the whole complex three floors 8 pools and hydro massage. Ask the reception of the spa for more info… Also great lunch buffet with fix price with wines bubbles etc included (35 per person) Also it’s very dog friendly they even have a dedicated thermal pool for dogs, so bring the dog!
