È un luogo di memoria indelebile, colmo di emozioni e ricordi, di azioni quotidiane, di sforzi verso il progresso e di smarrimento. L'organizzazione logistica della visita e l'attenzione nei confronti dei partecipanti sono sicuramente da migliorare, ma ci stanno lavorando. Posto da visitare assolutamente. Il manicomio di Lucca ha delle caratteristiche davvero peculiari: per motivi di studio e ricerca ne ho visitati diversi, e questo ha un'atmosfera e una storia uniche, sicuramente anche per l'importante presenza di Tobino e della sua attività medica e letteraria. La visita che abbiamo fatto mi è piaciuta, è stata un'esperienza particolare che consiglio: alcuni disguidi organizzativi non hanno comunque tolto fascino all'ambiente. The Lucca asylum has some really peculiar characteristics: for study and research reasons I have visited several, and this has a unique atmosphere and history, certainly also due to the important presence of Tobino and his medical and literary activity. I liked the visit we made, it was a special experience that I recommend: some organizational problems did not, however, detract from the charm of the environment.

La struttura e' veramente in stato di semiabbandono ma la grande disponibilita' degli accompagnatori tra i quali un ex infermiere che, con aneddoti e racconti di vita vissuta, ci ha fatto rivedere la storia di questo luigo.
