Amazing original food in a great location. The decor is very nice and the mixture of modern and old is done with taste. Lovely service. Would love to come again.

Amazing food and location (old building, great interior design). We had the day's specials: tartare (manual cut) and stake (which came with polenta) and deserts. Everything was prepare with huge attention at details, and was really tasteful.

Food is without any doubt an experience on its own. Unfortunately, once the restaurant becomes slightly crowded, the personnel doesn‘t take the time to care and serve their guests appropriately anymore. However, the thing that struck me most, were the portions. Absolutely minuscule and simply ridiculously small. For such a price tag, one should get sufficient food at the end of the menu...

Overall experience: Try hard with lack of attention to details on service. We had a three course dinner at Flurin, I went in with high expectation given their nice ambience and decor, and I left feeling unimpressed. Service was rather bad from the beginning, one of the waiters was rude. When I asked about their special dish of the day, he didn't know the answer, he gave a shrug and a sigh and said he will have to check with the kitchen (and yet never came back with an answer). He seemed rather moody and when I asked to have more beverage, he brought over without a word nor pouring it. The waitress was much nicer and friendlier. Food: the dishes were visually pleasing but taste wise at par. My starter and main were good but dessert was underwhelming.

Not so hidden gem in Glurns. Food is probably rather au cuisine but for reasonable prices. Service was friendly and very uncomplicated. The food itself was tasty. A small portion including a starter was enough for us but probably not if you are a good eater.

Absolutely amazing experience of staying and dining at Flurin. There's a heart-warming hospitality from the moment you walk in to the moment you say bye. The building itself is restored with much love and attention to detail: staying overnight in one of the suites was one of the most comfortable stays ever. It was very quiet, relaxing and the room temperature was perfect. The on-site kitchen offered little if anything to be desired: beautiful cutlery, plates and glasses, coffee espresso, herbal tea and a great selection of local wines and beverages. And the food alone is worth coming back more often!

You must eat here. If you only eat one meal in your time in this magical village or if you think you're just driving through, stop here. Eat here. I had dinner for one and was delighted to find a cozy corner in this ancient building. The ambience is a mesh of textures, ceilings that curve in and out, and velvet lined chairs. There is an air of homely luxury that will have you feeling relaxed. The meal surpasses the ambiance (which was already a high bar). For a start, the kitchen rewards you for visiting their restaurant with a basket of three different breads. They are all fantastic, but the aromatic surprise of the anise bread is something you can't miss. Please try the bread with and without the charcoal butter the house provides. This little enigmatic gem is smoother than the butter you know and intriguingly grey. If a basket of divine breads and lunar butter wasn't enough, you will also be rewarded with a taste of the finest meat for you to pair with the bread. As the staff treated me with such a welcoming and warm attitude, I barely noticed if there was a wait for my main. I entered the restaurant in search of gnocchi and was elated to be served a plate that took this Italian classic and turned it into a piece of modern art. The texture of soft and light gnocchi was complemented by the fine crunch of fried potatoes. The rich meat sauce added a salty zing to tie everything together. And if you wanted to feel extra special, they added foam to the mix to give it that " am I in a Michelin star restaurant?" feel. As all good things must come to an end, Flurin leaves you wanting another visit with their dessert. I had a beautiful, and I mean gorgeous dessert here. I was so full both in spirit and in physical stomach capacity that I couldn't believe I was able to eat the whole thing. I think they sprinkle the restaurant with magic so that you will always have room for dessert. You must try this chocolate and ice-cream treasure before you go. It was pillowy and rich with chocolate and warmth. Flurin is a place I would trek the four hours it took me to get to this region, just to eat there again. Thank you to all the staff for preparing a bit of magic with every plate.
