★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il fiume Pioverna nasce dalla Grigna Settentrionale a 1813 mt di quota e percorre la Valsassina confluendo nel lago di Como a Bellano dopo aver formato l'Orrido di Bellano. Durante il percorso riceve le acque di altri torrenti: a Introbio quelle del torrente Acquaduro e più avanti quelle del torrente Troggia, a Taceno quelle del torrente Maladiga. Nelle sue acque si trovano trote fario e iridee, ma anche salmerini è quindi meta degli appassionati alla pesca.
The Pioverna river originates from the Northern Grigna at an altitude of 1813 m and runs along the Valsassina, merging into Lake Como in Bellano after having formed the Orrido di Bellano. Along the way it receives the waters of other streams: in Introbio those of the Acquaduro stream and further ahead those of the Troggia stream, in Taceno those of the Maladiga stream. In its waters there are brown and rainbow trout, but also char is therefore a destination for fishing enthusiasts.
