Furore Beach Fiordo di Furore, near Positano, beautiful little bay, however it’s now closed for beach access. #FuroreBeach #FiordoDiFurore #AmalfiCoast #Positano

Must take a dip here on your way to Positano. Worth it.

I saw this place on Red Bull's cliff diving world championships, and I immediately became determined to make a journey for the awesome cliff jumping! The area is relatively secluded. There's not much traffic on the bridge, and the beach is open to the public, unlike many spots in Positano or Amalfi. Some boats come in to take a peak, since it's a landmark, but there's a line that they aren't allowed to cross, which keeps them on the other side of the bridge. It's really quite scenic, especially during sunrise. It also makes for a good swim. You can see some fishes and jellyfish. The real draw of this place though is the epic cliff jumping spots! All along the stairway from the bridge to the beach, there are good angles and platforms to dive off. They're at varying heights, so you can choose what you're comfortable with. If you're up for a real rush, you can also jump off of the bridge, which is about 30m high. I highly recommend it, if you have good experience diving and cliff jumping! Also, it's really easy to get to Fiordo di Furore. The best way is probably by bus, unless your staying in Furore. If you take the bus, just get off one stop before Furore.

Visited during June 2017 by car: - Difficult ( and dangerous) to park the car; you have to pull over on the side of the narrow road. - another option is take the stairs from Furore but it's hundred of steps...? or by bus. - not really a Fiord (use you imagination) - as all small corners on Amalfitan Coast is a good place, nice to take pictures. - We tried also to see by boat, but worthless. We don't think it worth the time ...

It's a beautiful place, but since August 2017 the beach has been closed off, apparently because of danger of falling rocks, and you can only take the stairs down almost to the beach and maybe take a picture. A visit won't take you more than 10 min. If you arrive by car, then I wish you the best of luck to find a parking spot - because there is no place to work. You'll have to park around 2 km from there and then walk the distance just to spend 10 min looking at the bridge and then walk back again.

Photo taken in Feb21. Amalfi coast is best to visit and enjoy until April. May/June still ok, then too busy and too warm. A swim in the cold water is hugely regenerative and advised if you are in good health

This place is amazing! Parking is a nightmare, illegal and an obstruction to traffic but you must find a way to safely get there. It looks like the businesses close over winter. The beach consists of millions pieces of old tile that have been polished smooth.
