★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Da persona che segue una dieta vegana, mai mi sono sentita dire "Le sconsiglio di venire" quando sono certa che una opzione in carta è presente (ho provato io stessa a suggerire verdure miste di ogni genere, bruschetta al pomodoro e/o ai fagioli e mi è stato detto "Sì, ma poi non ho altro a parte quello... boh, forse è meglio se cambia posto"). E se anche non fosse presente una soluzione, il non provarci nemmeno a trovarne una mi fa proprio dubitare del voler fare e anche del saper fare bene il proprio lavoro.
Quando abitavo in zona, spesso mi trovavo lì. Hanno perso un tavolo per una sera, pazienza. E così per le volte a seguire in cui mi ritroverò nei paraggi.
Consiglio ad altri vegani o intolleranti al lattosio o ad altro di tentare comunque a prenotare e creare richiesta, magari anche al Mulino si "aggiorneranno" con i tempi cercando una minima soluzione (che di sicuro è già presente tra i piatti o gli ingredienti della cucina, ma di certo manca solo la voglia di trovarla e proporla).
2 stelle perché non tentare nemmeno a trovare una alternativa fa capire tante cose.
Ho dato due stelle ma da quel che ricordo il posto è molto carino e fa cucina classica toscana, probabilmente con anche scelte vegane ma io non lo saprò mai (forse nemmeno loro).
 As a person who follows a vegan diet, I have never been told "I do not recommend coming" when I am sure that an option on the menu is present (I myself tried to suggest mixed vegetables of all kinds, bruschetta with tomato and / or beans and I was told "Yes, but then I have nothing else besides that ... well, maybe it's better if you change places"). And even if there is no solution, not even trying to find one makes me doubt if I want to do it and even know how to do my job well.
When I lived in the area, I was often there. They lost a table for one night, never mind. And so for the times to follow when I find myself nearby.
I advise other vegans or lactose intolerant or otherwise to try to book and create a request, maybe even at the Mulino they will "update" with the times looking for a minimum solution (which is certainly already present among the dishes or the ingredients of the kitchen , but of course the only thing missing is the desire to find it and propose it).
2 stars because not even trying to find an alternative makes you understand many things.
I gave it two stars but from what I remember the place is very nice and does classic Tuscan cuisine, probably with vegan choices too but I will never know (maybe not even them).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Locale molto carino arredato con gusto. Vasta scelta di vini prestigiosi. Personale molto gentile. Locale pulitissimo e molto rilassante. Il locale si trova davanti alla villa medicea di Poggio a Caiano. Si mangia benissimo piatti stupendi con vino eccezionale. Per passare una bella serata anche per bere un buon calice di vino.
Very nice restaurant tastefully furnished. Wide selection of prestigious wines. Very friendly staff. Very clean and very relaxing place. The restaurant is located in front of the Medici villa of Poggio a Caiano. You can eat wonderful dishes with exceptional wine. To spend a nice evening also to drink a good glass of wine.
