Wonderful place for those seeking peace and relaxation

More than a rest area, it looks like a fully-fledged campsite! Bathrooms always perfectly clean, access to 3 very suggestive coves, bar and great availability of the staff who also offers a shuttle service to the main locations! The only attention if you have a large vehicle as the road to reach it is not very wide and the spaces for maneuvering the pitches are limited.

Very nice place. The pitches are large just to be with camper and open awning. However, some are attached to each other and it is possible that you may be asked to move temporarily to let another camper out (if you book before you are told immediately if you need to move or not). In the bathrooms there is no bidet but they are always clean and there is always toilet paper. For the showers, on the other hand, you can choose between external and internal: the first that deliver only cold water and the second that deliver only hot water, but go to tokens. Going down the path that leads to the beaches, you will find tables with a sea view that are available to customers of the rest area. From the campsite you can reach two beaches, one on the right, where the water remains shallow for longer and the one on the left where there is a mixture of sand and stones. In both beaches the water is transparent and with a little swim you can first reach a small beach where there is no one and then that of straccoligno. In the rest area there is a bar that sells ice cream and sandwiches. There is neither a restaurant nor a minimarket, but these problems are easily solved because it is possible to order from a nearby pizza restaurant, which delivers directly to the rest area, and leaving a shopping list to the managers, they will do the shopping for you. . Another service offered is that of shuttle to Capoliveri. A drawback of this parking area, however, is that since it is also a parking lot, there is a traffic of cars that is not normal for a campsite and if you are in one of the pitches at the entrance it may happen to have waves of exhaust gases. However, the price is low (33 euros per pitch in July with 4 people included) and the beaches are not crowded, so I think this area is a very good stop and it will certainly be a stop if I return to the island of Elba.

Nice place but 5 km from Capoliveri. Dirt entrance, very steep. Pitches that are narrow and difficult to reach if you don't have a van. Above all unloading accessible only from 9 to 11 and from 15 to 17! If you arrive or leave at other times you cannot download. All for 27 euros in September !!

Beautiful pitches with clean sea view and showers everything you need, but be careful if you have a camper with a lot of rear overhang, heavy dirt road with a slope up, you risk having to call a tow truck to get out.
