P	P P on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I read negative comments and was a little bit insecure to use this service,but actually i didn’t have any problems both ways to Bologna and to Firenze.The bus was new , clean and on time.I recommend Appennino shuttle to get from Bologna airport straight to Firenze.

New and clean buses, I always arrived to Bologna airport on time, quite often also some minutes earlier (thanks also to the new highway between Firenze and Bologna, now there are less traffic jams!). The stop in Firenze is in Piazzale Montelungo. You can spot easily the buses because now they are yellow (I don't know if all of them)

All the costs of our travel have been refunded : hotels, plane, parking, museum, train except ....the bus with Appennino Travel company. Despite many mails we faced narrow contacts and the only one solution they can propose is to change the date till 30 july !! July ? I'm sorry but in July I wouldn't like to travel ! My advise is : run away from Appennino Shuttle, this is an unscrupulous business.

I've also tried to contact the call center that day but they simply told me: " We don't know where the bus is, but if you bought the ticket it will arrive...". This is not a comedy but the reality ! Well, in the end I had to go to Bologna by car (fortunately I had one).

In fact, I seldom write reviews, even if I have a really good experience. However, after reading the previous negative comment I felt compelled to leave a positive one for the Appennino Shuttle company because this service definitely does not deserve 1 star. I've been using the Appennino Shuttle since 2016 and still continue to use the service regularly. In my opinion it's the best, quickest, and most efficient ways to reach the Bologna Airport from Florence. It's a reliable service I count on for my travels for a reasonable price. The bus takes you directly from central Florence to the front steps of the airport. It takes anywhere from 1 hour to 2 hours depending on traffic. If the bus is late it's simply because of traffic conditions (which can happen to anyone) and is in no way a testament to against the bus drivers professionalism or quality of service. Bus drivers will be bus drivers. Some have been really nice and friendly, others indifferent to my arrival on the bus, but all of them professional. If you need to catch your flight give yourself at least 4 hours: 2 hours to get to Bologna, 2 hours before departure time. The buses are clean, air-conditioned, and quiet and there is plenty of space for your luggage. There is no eating or drinking on the bus so you don't have to smell anyone else's McDonald's which for me is a plus. Highly recommended.
