★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very small and difficult to walk around in. Some weird stairs and platform that causes patrons difficulty. Never got to 2nd floor as there are only stairs to 2nd floor. Not handicap accessible. The chair lift at the entry does not work. It was broke 2 years ago during a visit. Still broke. No chairs inside to sit if going thru books.
Just not a very nice place to browse books. Another patron remarked that the store management doesn't care much about your comfort as they think most patrons are visitors to Vatican and will not come for a 2nd visit anyway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff always friendly and helpful, departments sorted by genre are arranged consistently. On two levels, the upstairs music, games and movies. Among the staff stood Antonio, experienced seller enthusiast various sectors with a particular predilection to the cookbooks industry, food and nutrition.

Today I found there a great smart gift for a 1 year old.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for books, Dvds, and blu-rays. I wanted some blu-rays in Italian, and while one can order them from Amazon.it, the shipping is pricey. Here many titles were marked down 30% and more, some even 70% off. They had an an excellent selection of tv shows & movies, as well as of course lots of books. A must stop for the visitor looking to learn more Italian! The service was prompt and friendly. They were even concerned that I might have region-protection issues, but I assured them I had international players. Great place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nasty staff, first she jumped on me asking if I was filming ??? When I just held my phone in my hand and my husband was looking for an english book.
Second a very nasty answer & stairing look at us with an angry face telling us were the cassa were. Finaly in the cassa the female asks us if we only found one (1) book to buy and shook her head when the gentleman before us bought 3. Im in chock though we read a lot but have very small bagage to travel back to Sweden from Rome Ottaviano in just 4 days from now. There were not either any more books of interest because most of them we both already have read years ago. Thank you but nobthank you, and I will say that this is not the only bookshop in Italy that we have bought books from. We have bought books in more then one shop close to Termini, by Libia, in Bari & Matera plus in Napoli, Pompei & Salerno. This will do for now even though we do not parla fluently italiano. //KiKi & Terry

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff are very helpful, I needed an Italian book for beginner to intermediate and one of the staff suggested a few copies and explained the differences and which she could recommend. I got the book and left a satisfied customer!
