L'operatore mi aveva contattato chiedendo i dati per lo sdoganamento.
Alla reception sono stati gentili e mi han dato il pacco senza che avessi appuntamento e senza che fosse già pronto per la consegna.
Buona disponibilità, soddisfatto.
I went to collect a shipment from abroad.
The operator had contacted me asking for the data for customs clearance.
At the reception they were kind and gave me the package without having an appointment and without it being ready for delivery.
Good availability, satisfied.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Customer experience with Fedex Bollate: shocking.
I had a delivery due on wednesday 24/06 morning, but the package never arrived. After checking the parcel tracking online I found that the courier had supposedly tried to contact me, and that no one answered the doorbell or the telephone. Although this seemed very unlikely as I was home all day and had no missed calls, I contacted the customer service to have the delivery rescheduled for the next day. I also asked to double check my contact details.
Next day same situation, no sign of the FedEx courier, and when I called the customer service I got the same answer, there was no reply from the customer. So once again we rescheduled the delivery for this morning.
Third time lucky? Unfortunately not. After insisting with the customer service I was told that the package had never left the warehouse, both yesterday and today. Therefore the Bollate (Milan) FedEx office is mocking their customers, tainting the name of what, to me, was meant to be one of the leaders in Courier Services. What a shame.
All other delivery services managed to contact me and deliver without any hickups; DHL, Amazon, Ikea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service, let me pick up an urgent parcel on a Friday in person rather than wait for Monday. Very friendly staff that even speaks good English. UPS can learn a lot from FedEx here.
4 International deliveries received now and all of them arriving early.
