A bit spartan place to eat genuine in front of a fireplace. Come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cancelled truffle tour a couple days before our appointment. Little to no internet resulted in us showing up anyways- hours of driving. No refund issued- I had to call and complain. These people suck.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The truffle walk and tasting at Fattoria Collebrunacchi is a truly incredible and unforgettable experience. I visited with three American friends and we had a small group for our truffle walk. Francesca, Hilary, and Ciocco the dog were the best tour guides. Ciocco found 5 (!) summer truffles (he ate the fifth because he loves the taste; I can’t blame him!).
Lunch was delicious, from the white truffle tagliatelle to the tomatoes Francesca’s mother had picked just a half hour earlier. Marialuisa’s lemon olive oil cake made that morning finished an absolutely perfect meal.
I have family in Tuscany so I visit this area often, but this experience remains one of the most memorable in all my time in Italy. I cannot recommend enough taking a day to visit this little paradise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ had a truffle hike there with Francesca. outstanding old winery / estate with one of the best lunches with wine pairing...will go back. Francesca is a great host and the place has a family feel. cool old estate and winery. Quartaja is a great super tuscan value.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had an outstanding truffle hunting excursion booked through Italy and Wine. It was truly an out of this world experience with a private truffle hunting tour with an expert hunter and cute doggie companion. We hiked through the gorgeous Tuscan hillsides and found 3 truffles! The hunt was followed by an extravagant lunch in which every dish featured the truffle in a unique way. I didn't know what real truffle smelled and tasted like until this excursion. A once in a lifetime experience. I highly recommend the private truffle tour starting at Fattoria Collebrunacchi in San Miniato. Ciao!
