★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inaugurato dalla Regia Marina nel 1909 per l'illuminazione del tratto costiero occidentale dell'Isola d'Elba, è costituito da una torre a sezione ottagonale, con galleria interna e pareti in muratura bianca. Domina la baia di Patresi, l'ennesimo angolo dell'isola d'Elba che merita sicuramente di essere visto.
 Inaugurated by the Royal Navy in 1909 for the illumination of the western coast of the Island of Elba, it consists of an octagonal section tower, with an internal gallery and walls in white masonry. Dominates the bay of Patresi, yet another corner of the island of Elba that is certainly worth seeing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La spiaggia di Patresi (non fermatevi al primo sguardo del pontile ma seguite il sentiero a sinistra per pochi attimi) è piccola, in parte sassi grossi che diventa di ciottoli. Il mare è di un trasparente mai visto... parcheggio a pagamento in prossimità dell'accesso alla spiaggia, ma nella strada a scendere dal faro si trovano posti auto gratuiti
Patresi beach (do not stop at the first glance of the jetty but follow the path to the left for a few moments) is small, partly large stones that become pebbles. The sea is as transparent as ever ... paid parking near the access to the beach, but on the road down from the lighthouse there are free parking spaces

Era chiuso con un cartello "zona militare".
Non si vede nemmeno dalla spiaggia sotto.
From the road you can't see the lighthouse.
It was closed with a "military zone" sign.
Not even seen from the beach below.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un pelo impegnativo il sentiero per arrivare alla spiaggia ma dopo lo spettacolo ne vale...dipo le 16 circa la spiaggia è all ombra.
The trail is difficult to get to the beach but after the show it is worth ... around 4pm the beach is in the shade.
