★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poca affidabilità nei tamponi rapidi. A gennaio ho fatto un tampone e mi viene dato il risultato negativo ancora prima che io facessi il tampone. Stamattina il mio ragazzo fa il tampone con risultato negativo, nonostante lui avesse sintomi, dopo mezz'ora va in un'altra farmacia per fare un tampone rapido e stavolta il risultato è stato positivo. Quindi dire che sono poco affidabili è riduttivo. Pagare 15 euro per nulla.
 Little reliability in quick swabs. In January I took a swab and I am given the negative result even before I took the swab. This morning my boyfriend swabs with a negative result, although he has symptoms, after half an hour he goes to another pharmacy to do a quick swab and this time the result was positive. So to say that they are unreliable is an understatement. Pay 15 euros for nothing.

I have been a customer for many years, since 2010, and although I do not live nearby, I go to this pharmacy for every need, where I have always found impeccable professionalism, with advice that is always suited to my needs. Also during this period I went many times to undergo tampons, and this service is also rendered with great diligence, care, hygiene and attention.
I thank Dr. De Gaetani for the passion she puts into her work and for her natural kindness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here to do the COVID test. Dear tourists, it’s the worst place ever , I recommend you to see another place where you can receive the green pass.
First we received the negative results WITHOUT MAKING THE TEST! Than they put my wrong phone number so I did not received the cod messages, after that they tried the new registration but it wasn’t helpful. My husband’s code was no valid to get green pass from the Sicilian region. So our both test was only scrap of paper.
Finally they returned money for one test only and told to see some other places in town .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ How is that possiblet that a pack od Aspirin and a pack od Vitaminn C costs... 47 euro???? It is over 10 times its price in Poland.... I've checked the price of Ester Vitamin C: it should be 12-16 instead of 39 euro.... Regarding the answer: each type of vit. C is well absorbed and this medicine is not dangerous to atomach, because any surplus is easily removed by an organism. The cost of vit. C, with rutoside (+- selenium) is low, no Matthew the dose or amount of tablets. Also, your answer do not explain the typically cited price (in Italy), that is, 12-16 euro.

The test was done quickly and efficiently and we received the necessary documents. But I recommend a visit to see the pharmacy and learn its amazing story. The pharmacist Marilena de Gaetani is the latest generation of her family to treat visitors and Catanians since the 18th century. An earlier de Gaetani treated the British admiral Lord Nelson and his sailors. Dottoressa de Gaetani can recount extraordinary details from different periods, and explain the many many antique instruments and medicine bottles—really worth visiting and very near the main piazzas of Catania’s centro. But it’s not a museum; Farmacia de Gaetani is an active up to date source for all your health needs and advice.
