★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Montemurlo per acquisti presso Papini cashmere ho pranzato all'osteria Falchini è stata una ottima scelta, ambiente piccolo ma carino menù vario con prodotti di qualità personalmente provato il 'controfiletto' e mia moglie il 'bonton di maiale' due ottime scelte carne di ottima qualità. Abito a Livorno ma conto di tornare ne vale veramente la pena
 In Montemurlo for purchases at Papini cashmere I had lunch at the Falchini tavern it was a great choice, small but nice environment varied menu with quality products personally tried the 'sirloin' and my wife the 'pork bonton' two excellent choices of excellent meat quality. I live in Livorno but I plan to go back it's really worth it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Metto 4 stelle per incoraggiamento, ma sarebbero meno. Avevo grandi aspettative, in parte purtroppo disattese. Comincio con il dire che il personale è squisito, servizio davvero impeccabile anche nei tempi e nei modi. Il locale si presenta bene, bello anche il menu. Ottimi i vini e la scelta. Si controlla il Green Pass e tutto è ben organizzato. Purtroppo la nota dolente è stato il cibo; ho ordinato uno spaghetto scoglio e purtroppo mi è arrivato un piatto ben preparato dal punto di vista del piatto (lo chef è molto creativo, bravo) ma con 1 cozza e due vongole e con la pasta completamente attaccata che sembrava un mattone. La cosa più buona è stato il pane che faceva appunto "lo scoglio" nel piatto. Meglio invece il secondo con la tagliata. Il mio compagno invece ha preso il fritto di pesce, fatto bene ma veramente scarso in quantità (5 pezzi, insomma, visto il prezzo...). Diciamo che per il prezzo proposto e come abbiamo mangiato, non è propriamente economico e non rappresenta al 100% la potenzialità del locale e di un'osteria. Tornerò presto più avanti, sperando che i piatti siano migliorati notevolmente. p.s l'arredamento è carino, ma un pochino asettico, sembra una stanza ospedaliera. Mettete qualche pianta appesa...
I put 4 stars for encouragement, but it would be less. I had high expectations, unfortunately partly unfulfilled. I begin by saying that the staff is exquisite, truly impeccable service even in terms of timing and methods. The place looks good, the menu is also nice. Excellent wines and choice. You check the Green Pass and everything is well organized. Unfortunately, the sore point was the food; I ordered a spaghetto scoglio and unfortunately I got a well prepared dish from the point of view of the dish (the chef is very creative, good) but with 1 mussel and two clams and with the pasta completely attached that looked like a brick. The best thing was the bread that was just "the rock" on the plate. Instead, the second with the cut is better. My partner, on the other hand, took the fried fish, done well but really scarce in quantity (5 pieces, in short, given the price ...). Let's say that for the proposed price and how we ate, it is not exactly cheap and does not represent 100% the potential of the place and an osteria. I'll be back soon later, hoping the dishes have improved dramatically. p.s the furniture is nice, but a bit sterile, it looks like a hospital room. Put some hanging plants ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avevo grandi aspettative, che sono state ampiamente confermate dalla serata. Oltre alla bellezza dei piatti, la passione dello chef traspare in ogni pietanza. Locale volutamente piccolo per curare e coccolare i clienti, è così che ci siamo sentiti, coccolati. La carta dei vini (per i rossi) rapprensenta il territorio, la val d'Orcia, di provenienza della carne. Prezzo nella normalità. Devo tornarci per i piatti di pesce... sempre con ampie aspettative.
I had high expectations, which were amply confirmed by the evening. In addition to the beauty of the dishes, the chef's passion shines through in every dish. A deliberately small place to treat and pamper customers, that's how we felt, pampered. The wine list (for the reds) represents the territory, the Val d'Orcia, where the meat comes from. Normal price. I have to go back for the fish dishes ... always with high expectations.
