★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think I may have just found one of my favourite stores ever after happening to pass by it. it has beautiful tapestries and it's family own. What brought me into the store were the family made Klimt tapestries. The owner was extremely kind and passionate. It's steps away from San Marco church too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ MADE IN CHINA! Don't get fooled by the atmosphere or the well-prepared speech about a so-called family savoir-faire in craftmanship. I don't know for the other items but I can say that the bronzed statues sold here are made by a Chinese manufacturer ( you can Google "veronese design", you will end up on a B2B website and see nice pictures of chinese workers mass-producing those sculptures). At least I can say that the work is well-done.
I noticed the name under the statue after buying it, they did not even bother clearing it..
That would not be such a big deal if the speech was not a complete tissue of lies ( and the price way too high for a Chinese production). After all, there are hundreds of souvenir stores selling chinese counterfeited products imitating murano glass art in Venice. But I hate to be played for a fool.
Such a shame that locally made handcrafted items became so rare in Venice.

I recommend it if you want to buy a souvenir, buy from here because their business is very good??
