The place is beautiful but unfortunately it is closed (September 2020). The now closed nature museum is housed in the medieval convent.

Rimangono visibili la disposizione spaziale titica conventuale e le fortificazioni con fuciliere e cannoniere. It dates back to 1636 when it was obtained from a private house transformed into a fortified monastery close to the surrounding walls of the village. it remained a convent building for a few decades until it was destroyed. from an earthquake and abandoned and desecrated. The conventual spatial arrangement and the fortifications with riflemen and gunboats remain visible.

T	Tiziana mezza on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nel bellissimo borgo di Caramanico, proprio alla fine del paese, immerso nel verde del Parco della Maiella, si trova questo ex convento ormai sconsacrato e ora utilizzato x eventi, concerti, convegni e mostre. Al suo interno vi è il chiostro e anche un museo di uccelli e rettili, peccato che sia in uno stato di abbandono e non sempre aperto. Eppure basterebbe un po' di buona volontà per portarlo agli antichi splendori! ??? In the beautiful village of Caramanico, right at the end of the town, immersed in the greenery of the Maiella Park, there is this former convent now deconsecrated and now used for events, concerts, conferences and exhibitions. Inside there is the cloister and also a museum of birds and reptiles, a pity that it is in a state of neglect and not always open. Yet a little good will would be enough to bring it to its ancient splendor! ???
A	Alessia Orlando on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spazio molto ampio,bellissimo,adatto ad ogni occasione,dispone di tutto ciò di cui si ha bisogno, cucina ,camere, bagni,sala teatro, chiesa esterna, fantastico Belvedere. Adatto anche a gruppi numerosi, spazio all'aperto, un vero e proprio angolo di paradiso in cui rifugiarsi. Ci sono stata con la mia classe per un laboratorio ed è stato uno spasso! Bisogna solo risistemare un Po le stanze ma non manca nulla! Very large space, beautiful, suitable for any occasion, it has everything you need, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, theater room, outdoor church, fantastic Belvedere. Also suitable for large groups, open space, a real corner of paradise in which to take refuge. I went there with my class for a workshop and it was a blast! We just need to rearrange the rooms a little but nothing is missing!
