★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Esselunga Lecco is a bit far from the center of town, but is a supermarket that has everything you need. There's fresh produce, meats, fish and dairy as well as a gourmet deli counter. There's also a section for cosmetics and hosiery. There is a tiny healthfood section but no pharmacy (there's a pharmacy down the road). The layout is set up in simple aisles. There are about 20 checkout counters but only about 1/3 seem to be open at anytime even when it's packed. There is no self checkout. They accept bank cards and credit cards. There's also an online delivery service but you must order 2 days in advance.
