Studi sulla sua vita sono stati recentemente condotti da Don Celso, monaco dell'Abbazia di Monteoliveto Maggiore. Lo stesso edificio risale al suddetto periodo e la festa del Santo viene celebrata nel giorno del 7 gennaio. La festa viene organizzata dal Gruppo di Sant'Alberto guidata da Tiviano Cresti di Asciano e dopo un'ascesa molto suggestiva che va dal piano all'eremo viene celebrata una messa officiata dallo stesso Don Celso . Non mi sento per ora di dare la quinta stella in quanto recentemente le letture della Messa affidate ai fedeli al mio giudizio non hanno trovato un interprete all'altezza della cerimonia e per questo ho consigliato il capo del gruppo di trovare ottimi lettori e di impedire che personaggi possano senza titolo proporre o imporre la propria candidatura per svolgere tale attività che andrebbe a detrimento della bellezza della funzione ivi svolta Located near Asciano is the place where Sant'Alberto led monastic life in the 12th century.
