Sotto le fresche frasche infatti ce lui, il Grande Tavolo. Intorno al Grande Tavolo: si prega, si celebra l’eucaristia, si riflette, si mangia. A dire il vero il Grande Tavolo serve: ai relatori per appoggiare i fogli, per mettere i libri della preghiera, pane carasau e vino per la celebrazione della S.Messa, le pentole, i piatti, i bicchieri, le bottiglie del bere, perchè tutti sono seduti a qualche metro dal Grande Tavolo, sia per pregare sia negli incontri, ma anche per mangiare. All'Eremo Betania si usa così, mangiare seduti ma col piatto in mano. Aggiungo. All'Eremo Betania non bisogna MAI chiedere in quanti siamo a pranzo/cena, perché sicuramente arriverà qualcuno che porta una pentola di pasta fredda o due pizze famiglia ( ma anche niente) .... che saranno appoggiate sul Grande Tavolo, e anche loro si siederanno a qualche metro da lui per mangiare. Niente spostamenti per stringersi. Lo spazio intorno è grande e ci sono molte sedie. L’accoglienza che si respira all’Eremo Betania è incredibile. Qualcuno può dire che tutto questo è assurdo, io dico che questo è il mondo che vorrei. Non importa chi arriva , lì c’è posto davvero per tutti. L’impatto con l’Eremo Betania è stato da capire, ma dopo una settimana è difficile tornare a casa. E come aver imparato una nuova lingua, e voler dimenticare la vecchia. Forse mi adeguerò. At the Bethany Hermitage you must NEVER ask in how many we are at lunch / dinner, because surely someone will come bring a pot of cold pasta or two family pizzas (but also nothing) .... that will be placed on the Big Table, and they too will they will sit a few meters away from him to eat. No travel for huddle. The space around it is large and there are many chairs. The welcome that reigns at the Bethany Hermitage is incredible. Someone can say that all this is absurd, I say that this is the world that I would like to. No matter who arrives, there is really room for everyone. The impact with the Bethany Hermitage was to be understood, but after a week it is difficult to go home. It's like learning a new language, e want to forget the old woman. Maybe I'll adjust.
