β β β β β A wineshop (no, it's not a wine bar) which represents a piece of history in Besozzo and is the best place to learn history and culture of wine (and some other beverages). The choice is curated and vast, with wines subdivided per region, some foreign countries and a liquor section. Don't miss the opportunity to chat with Gino, the owner, or his sons. They usually provide extensive guidance and information, with infinite patience and passion. Gino is also an expert sabreur (champagne expert, and able to sword a bottle open), and his sons are (also) specialised in Gin and in Beers.

Prices are the lowest with the best selection. Family owned with friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Closed during lunch break, so you better check! Only drawback, I wish they would offer tastings...

The owner is always happy to help you out in finding wines according to your taste.
If you buy a lot heβs happy to throw in an extra bottle for free.

β β β β β Easily the best wine store in the greater area. Here you can find a nice selection of italian wines, whisky and grappa. Regarding wines, I would say they are reasonably priced. Especially wine that comes from nearby regions (i.e. Piemonte) is very well priced indeed. Whisky on the other hand, I found it overpriced.
All in all, a very good wine store, which a highly recommend.
