★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Non si può descrivere a parole l'esperienza gastronomica che si vive in questo piccolo locale nascosto: sicuramente il posto migliore in cui abbia mangiato nella mia vacanza Siciliana. Prodotti tipici di prima qualità accompagnati da eccellenti vini scelti, tutto servito da professionisti del settore che ci hanno saputo proporre e spiegare i vari abbinamenti della degustazione. Vale assolutamente la pena passare da Avola per un pasto a dir poco memorabile.
 You cannot describe in words the gastronomic experience that you live in this small hidden place: certainly the best place I ate in my Sicilian holiday. Typical top quality products accompanied by excellent selected wines, all served by professionals in the sector who were able to propose and explain the various combinations of the tasting. It is absolutely worth visiting Avola for a memorable meal to say the least.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wine Shop and Delicatessen, a cute place where is possible to have an appetizer or a snack with high quality sandwiches and a big selection of local wine. Like a lot of local people use to do, is possible to buy directly from the barrel. They offer also delivery services.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A unique experience! Great selection of Nero d'Avola (and other blendings) served with tasteful local cheese and sliced jam, in a cozy and friendly environment. And unexpensive, too! Salvo and his staff expertly advice you on the local products you can take home. Definitely worth a visit! And you can even safely drive, afterwards!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Always friendly, and willing to give good advice on choosing a wine. The white and red wines on tap are my favourite "vini sfusi" and are very good value. The delicatessen has a delicious selection of cheeses, cured meats, olives and so on. It's also a good place (and popular with the locals) to sit at one of of their tables for a sandwich made to order and a glass of wine.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite memories from our trip to Sicily was the wine tasting and meat/cheese board from Enoteca Avola. It was like being a guest in someone's home because the service was so good. We appreciated the personalized service an explanations for all of our questions. The wines themselves and all the food we tasted were unique and delicious. I really loved the homemade sun-dried tomatoes under oil. I can only hope to visit again one day.
