Villafranca offriva molto, maglificio, calzificio, Pirelli ecc... Oggi solo supermercati, centri commerciali e capannoni che il comune ha venduto a privati a prezzi modici e che il più delle volte dopo un paio di anni hanno cessato l'attività.
