I gelati alla frutta (ho provato gelso, mandarino e frutti di bosco) non sembrano più preparati con la frutta vera e sono poco saporiti. Peccato perché Emilio è stato sempre una tappa fissa per un gelato a Maratea. Unfortunately, the quality of the ice creams has dropped a lot compared to past years. Fruit ice creams (I tried mulberry, mandarin and berries) no longer seem made with real fruit and are not very tasty. Too bad because Emilio has always been a fixed stop for an ice cream in Maratea.

Der neue Laden ist modern und freundlich eingerichtet und befindet sich nur 20 Meter vom alten Standort entfernt. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, meist durch den Inhaber selbst. Best ice cream far and wide. There is a homemade ice cream for all flavors. The new shop is modern and friendly and is only 20 meters away from the old location. Very friendly service, mostly by the owner himself.

Poi è un piacere mangiare un ottimo gelato ammirando il bellissimo quartiere porto di Maratea. Very high level ice cream shop for both cream and fruit flavors. Then it is a pleasure to eat an excellent ice cream while admiring the beautiful harbor district of Maratea.

E	Edo S. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rudeness of the staff is unbelievable. We were the only customers in sight, and they rushed us like there was a million other people waiting behind us. They kept on banging the scoop on the desk to rush us into choosing a flavor. They barely even looked at us in the eyes or smiled and they even went as far as telling us what we should get so we had no choice left other than simply say “okay”. there was no reason to act like that and it happened twice with two different people on two different occasions. It looks like it’s a technique they’re using to make the customer go away quickly and it certainly worked with us, as much as the ice cream was delicious, we’ll never come back.
