Great value place for a haircut, not too long a wait, €10 including washing your hair midway. I took some photos of precious haircuts to ensure that there was no issue with being lost in translation ??. I also took an oBike to get there which is handy if you’re comfortable cycling in Rome.

An Italian friend who used to live in Rome recommended this hair salon/barber shop to me while I am visiting the city. I admit that I was very stressed when I arrived at the shop : small, filled with local people chatting, situated in very residential area... as I step in, I do feel people quite surprised by us (I came with my brother and his girl friend. Our face shout "tourist"). But I am then immediately warmly greeted. I made effort to speak some basic italien and they also try to speak English. Everyone was really friendly, especially the young owner Emiliano. We were told to wait a bit as there were some people waiting. The waiting was quite long but by observing their working, we soon realized it because of the great attention they put on each of the smallest detail : they are practicing a noble artisanal work, not just earning money. We were awed by the insistance on each process and gesture. Each client left looking amazing, young but elegant. Stylish but with class. My hair stylist Eleonora exchanged a lot with me. Upon learning that I am starting a new job with this new hair cut, she gave me very professional opinion about the length and the style of the hair. She even took into account the nature of the job(audit and consulting). During the cutting, she asked me several times about how I felt and endure patiently my poor italien (they do speak English, I just wanted to practice). At the end, the result is most satisfactory. I do feel confident and ready for the new career. Definitely recommend this barber shop : first class service with very fair price. Big thank you to Eleonora again.

Place deserves 6-stars! Staff couldn’t have been friendlier—we landed in Rome and had time before we could check-in to our room so I took all 3 of my boys to this barber and they gave all 4 of us haircuts while still being able to fit in their regular customers. Kids haircuts were only €10 with wash, and adults are €13 with wash! Add a beard cut for only €5–can’t beat it!

I went in speaking English and Spanish, and they spoke Italian and heavily accented English. So I communicated what’s I liked with a series of head nods head shakes, sí or no, and a picture of what I wanted. I learned that the man that was cutting my hair had been cutting hair for roughly 70 years! So, even with the communication barrier, this place did a fantastic job at cutting my hair!

They did everything in a very professional way, the way it should be. You don't need to know much about haircuts to tell them what you need. I'm satisfied :)

I had a very bad experience earlier this morning from one of the salon(Danylu di Micarelli Daniela) that I saw on Groupon. I purchased their promo haircut but it is not worth it at all. I WAS COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED AND DISAPPOINTED with the haircut and the stylist. I searched on Google Maps for a Barber Shop and I’ve found Emiliano and Franco Hairstyle. Read some of the reviews and it was indeed true! I extremely recommend and suggest this barber shop to anyone who is looking for highly skilled and professional haircutter. WORTH EVERY PENNY and their services are pretty reasonable. KUDOS TO MARCO!!!, who did my hair. I am completely satisfied with his service and not to mention that he is very professional and easy to deal with. I didn’t explain to him at all what I wanted and just showed him the haircut that I want and HE DELIVERED IT! I cannot thank him enough for saving my hair for my wedding this coming Dec. 3.
