Padre dopo averlo conosciuto. Gli hanno fatto tutti gli esami possibili pur non essendo un loro paziente, anche se purtroppo il destino era segnato. Ringrazio tutto tutto il reparto del dy che ho conosciuto per appena 6 ore ma mi è sembrato fossero anni e soprattutto. Il grande luminare prof. Martelli, persona umile, sincera, cordiale e sempre disponibile anche al cellulare. Competenza, professionalità ma quello che più mi colpì nell'anno 2000 la serenità e tranquillità che trasmetteva ai suoi pazienti. Se non lo avessi incontrato mi sarei di certo persa e forse oggi non sarei qui a scrivere . È sempre nei miei pensieri e soprattutto nel mio cuore. Inoltre non posso dimenticare la bravura del suo staff e del reparto di ematologia che a quel tempo era situato all'ospedale Monteluce di Perugia. Una bellissima persona, un'eccellenza della medicina e della ricerca. Lo ricordo con stima e affetto insieme a tutto il suo staff
