★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am studying abroad in Florence for the spring and needed an affordable place to get my hair done and I could not be happier I chose Elite, honestly. The owners were beyond accommodating despite the language barrier (we used a translating app to talk when we had something important to say) and they really made sure I was getting what I wanted. I got a balyage treatment in addition to a cut and I'm not joking when I say it's the best color treatment I have ever gotten, significantly better than anywhere I've been in the US. I don't normally leave reviews but my friends and family are literally raving about my hair because they all love it so much. I will be recommending Elite to all my friends in my study abroad program and everyone I know who will be coming here in the future:) Grazie MILLE!!!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I first went to Elite hair for a much needed haircut. I found it through Groupon, and I thought to give it a try. During my first appointment, Enza - one of the hairstylists - mentioned a hair treatment for my VERY dry hair. She said that it's a natural-based KERATIN treatment, and would not affect my natural curls. Now, I need to mention that I've always had dry hair, but ever since moving to Florence, it got much much worse.
So, I booked my second appointment to try it out. Angelo, the co-owner and hairstylist, spent 3 and a half hours meticulously applying the product, washing and applying heat to my hair. He was so professional and oh so very patient with my broken Italian. He really did his best to take care of my hair, as well as to make me feel comfortable. He also suggested ways of better taking care of my hair.
I couldn't be happier with the result, and really, a picture is worth a thousand words. My natural hair colour was really brought out after this treatment. I definitely recommend it!

Even though I’m very happy with the result, I can give only only two stars because they made me pay 30€ extra for the styling, which is supposed to be included in the price and was also never mentioned at any point during the stay. It’s very sad that they belong to this group of Italians who think they can make foreigners pay more, just because they are not 100% fluent in Italian. Can’t recommend
