★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questa lapide fu apposta nel 1901 a due anni dalla morte di don Nicolò Daste, sacerdote nato nell'attuale quartiere di Sampierdarena e per il quale è stato avviato il processo di beatificazione. Proprio qui sorgeva l'istituto delle suore della Divina Provvidenza, l'ordine che don Daste fondò per dare istruzione e educazione alle orfanelle. Ora l'istituto ha la sede vicino alla chiesa del Santissimo Sacramento, in via Belvedere.
 This plaque was affixed in 1901 two years after the death of Don Nicolò Daste, a priest born in the current district of Sampierdarena and for whom the beatification process was started. Here was the institute of the Sisters of Divine Providence, the order that Don Daste founded to give education and education to orphans. Now the institute has its headquarters near the church of the Santissimo Sacramento, in via Belvedere.
