★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il mosaico è stato posato in occasione del cinquecentesimo anniversario della costruzione del Santuario di Saronno, avvenuta nel 1498. Di ampia superficie, (9mq) raffigura la Beata Vergine con Gesù Bambino. Alla base sono pure raffigurate le tre principali chiese della città: il Santuario, la Prepositurale e San Francesco. Il disegno del mosaico è stato eseguito dal saronnese Alessandro Carugati.
 The mosaic was laid on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the construction of the Sanctuary of Saronno, which took place in 1498. Of large surface, (9m2) it represents the Blessed Virgin with the Child Jesus. At the base are also depicted the three main churches of the city: the Sanctuary, the Prepositurale and San Francesco. The mosaic was designed by Alessandro Carugati from Saronnese.
