Nella piazza principale di Voghera si trova il Duomo della cittΓ , consacrato a San Lorenzo martire e con una storia che affonda le sue radici nell'Alto Medioevo, profondamente legata a Pavia e ai Longobardi. Bellissima Γ¨ la cupola, sormontata da una lanterna e arricchita da un tiburio ottagonale, Γ¨ stata progettata dall'architetto Corbetta e affrescata tra il 1906 e il 1908 dal torinese Luigi Morgari e da Rodolfo Gambino.
 The Duomo is 10 minutes from the Voghera train station.
In the main square of Voghera there is the city's Cathedral, consecrated to San Lorenzo martyr and with a history that has its roots in the early Middle Ages, deeply linked to Pavia and the Lombards. The dome is beautiful, surmounted by a lantern and enriched by an octagonal lantern, it was designed by the architect Corbetta and frescoed between 1906 and 1908 by Luigi Morgari and Rodolfo Gambino from Turin.

The exterior of the cathedral is impressive, the interior is very bright and richly frescoed.

β β β β β It's a shame, something totally barbarian having an historic square surrounding a XVII century cathedral submerged, outraged by cars. It's not a square, nonetheless an Italian "piazza".
It's an awful parking.

β β β β β Only 3 stars because there is a cathedral in almost every town. I didn't come inside 'cause I don't feel so ok in Catholic churches. As an historical place it really has an important value with no doubt.
